It seems as though everyone is jumping on the essential oils bandwagon these days. I keep seeing more companies offering essential oils in their product line all the time. I am glad that awareness of essential oils is increasing, and more & more people are wanting to use natural methods to pursue wellness for their families. That being said, as a natural wellness educator, I do have some concerns about some of the products being offered on the market. Purity of essential oils Not all essential oils are created equal. If you work with essential oils you know that a drop or two can go a long way. How many drops are in each bottle? As I discussed most of the oils come in the standard size of 15 mL bottles while premium oils come in 5 mL bottles. Many people like to share or distribute oils in smaller 2mL bottles. Here is the break down (They range because oils drops vary in size depending on the oil): 15mL Bottle – 320-400 drops 5 mL Bottle – 100-120 drops 2mL – 25-30 drops If you are using 1/4 or 5/8 Dram sample bottles. 3 Taps = 1 Drop Hope this info helps!
